Get Involved EarthLearn is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. As such, it operates largely from donations in order to provide its programs to the children of the San Francisco Bay Area. Due to ever-increasing funding constrictions spread over an ever-increasing number of mandated programs, it is our experience that the schools of California are stretched to their carrying capacity. Enriching programs like EarthLearn's are being whittled out of many school and district budgets. Because the environment and the guiding of the public toward responsible stewardship are so critical to the future of our children, EarthLearn attempts to provide its services at no cost to the schools and their families. EarthLearn needs your help in this endeavor. It costs approximately $900 to deliver one three-part program with transportation encompassing nearly half of the expense. Is it any wonder that schools are minimizing fieldtrips despite the tremendous impact fieldtrips have on student learning and retention? Currently, our most pressing need is for monetary support.
