Dina Sanders, Executive Director
A former environmental educator for the Oakland Zoo, Ms. Sanders taught, developed school curricula, coordinated partnerships between the zoo and Oakland Unified School District. Ms. Sanders was the staff liaison to the Docent Training Program and was responsible for curriculum design, alignment with school programs curricula and zoo philosophy, coordination between departments, etc. Ms. Sanders is a graduate of the Oakland Zoo's Docent Training Program, a member of the American Zoological and Aquariums Association (AZA), and participates in formal as well as informal continuing education.

Jeff Sanders, Vice President
Mr. Sanders is a human resource professional who is highly active in the high tech industry. With over fifteen years experience and over ten of those years in Silicon Valley, he is well established and frequently sought after for advice and information. Over the past several years, he has been a key facilitator for the SPHR/PHR certification training held throughout the Bay Area. Mr. Sanders is also principle of JD Sanders Consulting. He was the 2004 recipient of the NCHRA Volunteer of the Year award. He has a M.Ed. from Boston University.

Peggy Herndon, Treasurer
Peggy Herndon is currently in her second term as a board member for the Fremont Unified School District Board of Education, having been originally elected in November 2000. She held the position of President of the Board from December 2004 to December 2005. Ms. Herndon is also a delegate to the California School Board Association as well as the FUSD representative to the Alameda County School Board Association. She is the CFO for Floor Seal Technology since November 2002. Ms. Herndon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Pegeen Brosnan, Secretary
Ms. Brosnan is well-known for being one of the ground-breaking teachers in the Fremont Union School District for the last seven years. A recipient of the NUMMI/FUSD "Most Innovative New Teacher" Award as well as a Finalist for Teacher of the Year FUSD 2005 - 2006, Ms. Brosnan is sought for her innate knowledge of education, the needs of our children and her love of learning. Prior to teaching, Ms. Brosnan practiced securities and business law for 15 years and received her Juris Doctorate degree from Marquette University Law School, after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin at Madison with a BA in Journalism.
